Trinidad beach: Playa Ancon

Trinidad has one of the best beaches in Cuba. The famous Caribbean beach called Playa Ancon is just 20 minutes away from the center of Trinidad.

Besides the stroll through the picturesque streets of Trinidad, you can also experience a real tropical beach in the nearby. From the city center you can take a taxi ride and in 15 minutes you’re on the beach. The cab will cost you around 8 USD.

Whole Trinidad is proud on their beautiful Ancon beach.

The beach is regularly maintained and offer many facilities like bars, scuba diving, sailing, beach volley and swimming.

Transportation: A local Taxi will cost you 10 USD or less to get you from the center of Trinidad to Ancon resort.

There are many lifeguards around. They are really helpful and nice to talk. They will also provide you with additional services like drinking from a natural pineapple (3 USD), scuba diving (30 USD), original Cuban cigars (30 USD), Havana club old rum (15 CUC) and lichi fruit (1 USD).

Ancon beach is children and family friendly. There is a lot of shade, so you will not need a beach tent.
